Get to the Game
Unlike many ballparks, Dolphin Stadium isn’t situated in the heart of a bustling city, and isn’t served by public transportation. So you’ll be driving to the game, but that’s not such a bad thing. The stadium is located just off the Florida Turnpike and surrounded by parking lots that are mostly empty during Marlins’ games.
The parking fee is just $10, and if you get there early enough there’re usually an abundance of spaces available that are just steps from the stadium’s gates. If you’d rather spend that ten dollars on a beer or Cuban sandwich during the game, park at the Wal-Mart across the street and walk over. It’s been done.
For a map and driving directions, go here. While Dolphin Stadium sits in a rather remote area of Miami-Dade County, you’ll appreciate it when you’re leaving after a long game and speed away on the turnpike rather than staring at the depressing glow of brake lights for miles ahead.
