Experience the Park Busch Stadium Fan Guide
Ah, St. Louisans love their beer—and at Busch Stadium the tap-to-spectator ratio is very favorable. And of course it’s mostly Anheuser-Busch products (no duh), with a variety of sizes to match your dollar or your liver. Bud Light, Bud Select and Bud Heavy (Budweiser) are the primary options, but if you’re in the mood for a cocktail or something not related to the Bud family it can be had (Anheuser-Busch sold the Cards in the mid-90s). Best bet is the Casino Queen area (section 271); you’ll know you’ve made it when you see the Ace of Spade/Jack of Clubs on the floor. Here you’ll find Heineken, Stella Artois, Sam Adams, Corona, Fat Tire and a few other brews not from St. Louis. You can even get a Mudslide or Margarita, but these are on the pricey side.
If you’re thinking local (and drinking local), go with a Schlafly Beer, which is a local micro-brew. They have a pale ale and hefeweizen that’s available at various stands in the park, including the Casino Queen and the Backstop Bar behind home plate. And FYI … like many parks, beer sales are limited to two per person per transaction, and sales end at the conclusion of the 7th inning except for designated private areas.
