Home of the Emerald Bowl
League: College Football
Team: Emerald Bowl
The Emerald Bowl is played in beautiful AT&T Park in San Francisco and this year pits USC against Boston College, an attractive matchup compared to many of the other bowls out there. Originally known as the San Francisco Bowl, this contest has been played since 2002 in the ballpark by the bay. AT&T Park is the home of the Giants and has been called "baseball's perfect address" because of the excellent sightlines, the great food and drink, and the setting right on San Francisco Bay. If all of that also applies to football isn't clear, but even if the game's a dud there's the opportunity to explore one of the coolest cities anywhere. And heck, the weather might even be nicer than a summer night in San Francisco.
