The Leinie Lodge
Drink selection at the Metrodome is wide and diverse, able to accommodate even the pickiest drinker. Mainstream beers like Budweiser and Miller are available as well as Leinenkugel’s, Summit, Michelob and Finnegans, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Turning Leaf wine. All will cost you about $6-7 per drink. For the designated driver, the Dome also has a supply of O’Doul’s for $4 a pop.
At the Cantina, located in Sections 101 and 216, you can get your money’s worth by purchasing the biggest drink available: a 24 oz. Corona for $10.00. Leinenkugel’s Leinie Lodge is the only place to get a cold Leinenkugel, a beer imported all the way from Wisconsin. It’s worth the trip. Beers and Wines of the World lives up to its name, as fans can choose from a wide selection of import beers and wines. And the Corona Cabana (section 128) serves some type of Mexican brew whose names escapes us.
For the younger or sober fan, concession stands offer Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite. There are also Minute Maid and Dasani products available. Milk and coffee are available at Field Fare. For a true Minnesota drink, check out Maui Wowi and their locally famous smoothies.
